All new trial members - directions to HQ and do your tutorial!

Few things as you get started in EVE.

First...do the tutorial!!!! i can't stress this enough. This game is unlike anything you have ever seen before, and it WILL take some getting used to.

Second....don't worry about race. Do your tutorial until you finish and you will get a new ship. After.....follow these directions to get to the corp hanger:

1) Select People & Places


2) In the drop down menu select Solar System




3)we are now in Niyabainen IX - Moon 19 - Caldari Navy Logistics Support Base
and
Tash-Murkon Prime V - Moon 5 - Tash-Murkon Family Bureau





4) Right click on Tash-Murkon Prime (or Niyabainen) and select Set Destination


5) It will then show you your route on the upper left hand side of the screen


6) you will see a bunch of dots on the left hand side of your route...these should all be yellow, green and blue. If they are, continue to step 12, if not continue to step 7.

7) If you have any route symbol dots representing orange or red. DO NOT JUMP! It means it is taking you into low security space, and you will get destroyed QUICKLEY as a noobie.

8) Hit F10, this will bring up your map system. You will have seen another menu box popup as well.

9) On this new menu select Autopilot and then Settings




10) In the Settings tab select the option:
Prefer Safer - stay in 0.5 to 1.0 where possible



11) Hit F10 again, to close your map system. You destination should be all yellows, greens and blues (representing 0.5 and high security)

12) Once your destination has been set, hit the letter A on the panel on the bottom of your screen, this will turn on your autopilot. This takes longer than manually jumping, but it will jump you from where you are to our HQ system. If you want to manually jump, just right click on empty space, go to Stargates and select the next one on your destination list.



13) When you get to Tash-Murkon Prime, right click on empty space, select Stations, select Tash-Murkon Prime V - M1 - Tash Murkon Family Bureau (or Niyabainen IX - Moon 19 - Caldari Navy Logistics Support Base) , and select Dock, you will be taken and docked into our station.


14) Once docked, a menu on the right will bring up all the station services. Select Headquarters (in Caldari space) or Office (in Amarr space), scroll down until you see PURgE Corp, and click Apply to Join. Once you fill out the application, someone will be along shortly to accept it.


15) See ya in Game!

So do you need a degree is physics from Harvard to play this game?

no but it's more complex than any other game out, consider it a simulator more than a game

I havnt been able to log on in a week. Im hopin to get on tonight if I dont have to stay at work late. Runnin outta stuff to do anyhow in WoW till the next patch. Hopefully Ill see you guys on.

How do you go about getting invited into the corp?

travel to the corp or office, and fill out an application...unfortunately its the only way to do it
