Ok, maybe not kidnapped, but stolen!

I like taking photos and have been uploading my 365 project online (been around a while - take a photo for every day of teh year and upload ... some work with themes, others just random pics, whatever you feel like really) ...

I get home today to discover I have a new "follower" ... his name is Bman ... I think to myself "Cool, PURgE Bman found me and is watching my photos" ... but I discover, Project365 Bman is 39 and has two daughters ... this is not you Bman - you have been stolen!!!!!

I've always been under the impression that our internet here in Australia is....in a word....shit. SO I did a broadband speed test and was curious how it stacked up against you guys in the states???

I'm with Telstra paying $90 a month for a 100gig download with Optic Fibre connection to the door. Here are my speed results...

So.

I'm driving to work this morning and the woman in front of me stops at a red light with her turn signal on...and just sits there. No traffic, just open road. I wait for a few beats before I give her a polite little honk. I see her jump in her seat, grab the wheel, and floor it to go around the corner. I also see her on her damn phone.

I pull up next to her at the next light. She looks over, so I am required (by law) to mimic hanging up a phone and putting my hands on the steering wheel.

She goes absolutely batshit crazy and starts flailing around in her car and throwing things at me. (All of the things she throws just bounce off the interior of her passenger side window.) She is still on the phone.

Meanwhile, a grounds guy has pulled into the lane in front of her in his golf-cart, stopped, put a cone behind the cart, and proceeded to begin trimming the hedges in the median.

When the light turns green, crazy phone lady floors it. She completely destroys the cone and cannons into the heavy-duty ground golf cart that is on the other side. She hit hard enough for her airbag to deploy.

Sometimes, just sometimes, bad things happen to bad people...instead of me.

(The woman was unharmed. She was NOT interested in any form of help from me. I told the police she was distracted by her phone, and then I left.)
